Opened in March 1926 when the South Notts Bus Company was formed by C.T.Dabell, Gotham Garage will always be remembered as an important part of Nottinghamshire’s bus history.
South Notts remains an important part of NCT and the South Notts name will continue to be proudly displayed on buses on the route between Nottingham, Gotham and Loughborough, still known by so many as the “main road” service.
This book commemorates the 95-year history of Gotham Garage, starting with the first service at 8.20am on 13th March 1926, through to the present day and closure on 29th March 2021.
